Another illo. for my collection of illustrations of Hera’s clothes… This was the first baby thing I ever bought (it’s from H&M) I thought it was adorable and reminded me of felt patchwork from the 70’s. Took a break from the pen illos for this one as it needed a bit of softness to capture the lovely mix matched textures & vintage feel of it. (Illustrations are done with a graphite pencil, and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

I bought this for Hera when we first found out we were having a girl… another for my illustrated diary of Hera’s childhood stuff. (Illustrations are done with a black pen (Staedtler Fineliner 306 S) and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

Here’s another in my illustrated diary of Hera’s stuff… just love black and white striped stockings on kids, feels very Tim Burton-ish. (Illustration is done with a black Staedtler Fineliner 306 S, and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

Another illo for my project of illustrating Hera’s little outfits from birth to whenever I’ve had enough! I’ve started to leave my scribbled notes as part of the final illustration to keep it like the original drawings in my sketchbook. (Illustration is done with a black Staedtler Fineliner 306 S, and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

This was Hera’s first official toy (IKEA, $12.99,) we started putting it hear her to look at when she was just a few days old. Part of my illustrated diary of Hera’s stuff. (Illustration is done with a black Staedtler Fineliner 306 S, and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

Here’s another illo for my collection of illustrations of Hera’s clothes… one more to go and I’ll be done sketching her 0-3 month sized outfits, and on to the adorable ones she’s wearing now. (Illustrations are done with a black pen (Staedtler Fineliner 306 S) and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

I’ve been enjoying working on these illos of Hera’s outfits, it’s nice having something to work on that doesn’t take too much time and I can fit easily around taking care of Hera. Here’s the latest. (Illustrations are done with a black pen (Staedtler Fineliner 306 S) and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

I had the pleasure of illustrating this birthday card for Hazy Jean a few weeks back, and it’s now available in shops & through Hazy’s online catalogue. Illustration was done in acrylic on illustration board. (And Hazy did an awesome job on the type, I could just eat it!)
