Another illo. for my collection of illustrations of Hera’s clothes… This was the first baby thing I ever bought (it’s from H&M) I thought it was adorable and reminded me of felt patchwork from the 70’s.  Took a break from the pen illos for this one as it needed a bit of softness to capture the lovely mix matched textures & vintage feel of it. (Illustrations are done with a graphite pencil, and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

I had the pleasure of illustrating this birthday card for Hazy Jean a few weeks back, and it’s now available in shops & through Hazy’s online catalogue. Illustration was done in acrylic on illustration board. (And Hazy did an awesome job on the type, I could just eat it!)
