Thanks! This helped so much! I've read several
rather confusing websites lately, this cleared up some confusion I had.

You hit on two of my favorites! The Velveteen Rabbit had to be read in an English accent in our home... because we had a little video of it that Meryl Streep narrated, and if I didn't attempt her accent I was told I was reading it "wrong."

And my oldest daughter recently told me the boys didn't need another copy of Love You Forever. They already have three. All from me.
:-D

My friend Sam lent me 'Love you Forever' to read to my five year old. I didn't just weep a little tear, I completely lost it, and like you, I still haven't made it to the end of the book in a composed manner. It's that picture of the man cuddling his mother that really does it for me...'Guess how much I love you' is another one.
