The Velveteen Rabbit had to be read in an English accent in our home... because we had a little video of it that Meryl Streep narrated, and if I didn't attempt her accent I was told I was reading it "wrong." And my oldest daughter recently told me the boys didn't need another copy of Love You Forever. They already have three. All from me. :-D You hit on two of my favorites! I didn't just weep a little tear, I completely lost it, and like you, I still haven't made it to the end of the book in a composed manner.
