Hi Heather. I fell upon your website while searching and researching children's publishing. I am an artist and beginning a new venture of illustrating a children's book for publication. I have a question: I will be working in acrylic paints with pen. The size of the book possibly will be 8 1/2 by 11. I have set up my artwork at the size of 17" x 22" so the artwork will be read as one whole illustration as each page is turned. I hope I am clear in explaining myself. I am wondering if this is ok for submission when it comes time to print the book. Any information will be very helpful. thank you. Love your work.
Hi Heather - I can hardly wait to see the book. Maybe the Gaspe tourist industry should thank Lisa and you for making it look so attractive! I may have to visit the Gaspe myself! Best wishes!
