Thanks Heather I'm thinking of trying our in the areas of card design and childrens books after spending many years as a graphic and web designer. I have loads of experience in illustration and design already but there is a lot of specific information I don't know. It's true - the more you know, the more you discover what you don't know - your blog is very informative and helpful. If you laugh at any of my cartoons here - consider that a thankyou. http://www.stooryduster.co.uk

Much appreciated - Cheers and merry Christmas.

Do puplishers really look at unsolicited samples? Or do they have interns to do it? I know music producers who have mountains of cd submissions to go through. They will listen to some, but no way they can go through them all. Just curious how it works with illustrations. Thanks
