I’m a little over halfway through stitching together the scans of my watercolour illustrations for Riley’s Tooth, written by Diane Cantrell (Author of Good-bye, Baby Max). I’m really pleased with how the illustrations have turned out, especially since they are entirely in watercolour (a first for me as normally I switch to pencil crayon for the finer details.) Here’s a preview of three of the sixteen illustrations for Riley’s Tooth.

Hi Heather! I love, no I love, Love, the warm and dreamy atmosphere you’ve created here! I think it will peak the interest and imaginations of children beyond the written words of the story, and that’s awesome. Thanks so much for your blog, and sharing your wonderful gift!

Hi, I stumbled on your site when looking for a recycled logo and wasn’t expecting to find such a lot of endearing and beautiful pictures! Love them! The dog in the basket with the blindfold on has got to be my favourite. Also thanks for the step by step in colouring in the illustration in PS.
