Hera’s Stuff | Fishie chew toy
Another toy for my illustrated diary of Hera’s things. Gotta love toys designed to be gnawed on. Heh heh, for some reason it looks a bit gross drawn out as an illustration… maybe it’s the taste-bud like bumps on the tail & head of the fish! (Illustrations are done with a black pen (Staedtler Fineliner 306 S) and colour is applied in Photoshop.)

I’m so impressed with your illustrations. I’ve written and illustrated 4 books, two published and 2 coming in ‘08. I’ve done lots of fine art but I want to do greeting cards. What size or ratio should I be painting? I don’t want to put in lots of hours and have it be the wrong size. Watercolor paper or stiffer?Thanks for all those other tips you shared.
