					<description>Heather,

I have really enjoyed looking at your work on this site. You are a talented illustrator! I know that you have geared your blog to illustrators, but I have a question for you as a writer. In addition to other projects, I have written a series of poems/stories for my children and would like to put them together with illustrations for my children before they are too old to want me to read to them. What would you recommend I do to find someone willing to illustrate the poems for me? What is the standard charge for something like that if it's not for publication? Any insight you can offer will be greatly appreciated!

If you'd like, you can see one of the poems by checking out my blog. The November 25, 2007 entry features one poem in the series.

Again, I will appreciate any advice you can give me.
