Well, this picture sums up why I’ve been blog-negligent for the last week… I found out I’m going to be a mommy! My friend’s daughter proudly handed me this drawing and said “This is you and your baby!” and I just about cried! So don’t be surprised if you see a lot more cutsie wootsie cuddly bubbly baby illustrations from me in the near future!

Wow, Heather, congratulations…that’s fantastic news. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw a lot more cutsie wootsie cuddly bubbly baby illustrations from you in the near future anyways, even if you weren’t pregnant!

Hi Heather,
Congratulations! Enjoy the ride. I’m mid-way through potty training my first (and only so far) daughter. She did three wees in the potty today. She also spoke to her Nanna on the phone for the first time ever. Motherhood is an amazing experience. Welcome.
