I was doodling a bit last night… have had a hankering to illustrate another colourful garden scene, and a fairy, and some kids… so here’s my plan! I’m hoping to use this for a self-promotion piece, and will have time to paint it early next week.

Any chance I can use your whimsical garden sketch in the June 2008 edition of the Mt. Caesar/Cutler PTO newsletter? A teacher submitted an article about master gardeners creating a garden and how the classrooms have maintained and expanded it. She is looking for families to help tend it this summer. Your sketch is beautiful and I thought it would look nice with the text wrapping around it. Let me know if you get a chance — I go to press on Monday (i.e. to the photocopier at school — we make about 1,000 copies). Thank you, Kathy Schnyer

Heather the drawing is BEAUTIFUL!! It gives a good “SPRING IS ALMOST HERE” vibe. :)
