I just completed another commission for a Shell Mosaic (You can see my previous mosaic here.) These are a lot of fun to do, as beachcombing is as much fun as putting together the final artwork. This time around I did the gluing in 3 sittings, and just used white craft glue, giving it a few hours to dry between sittings. I glued the artwork to illustration board trimmed to the same width of the frame it would go into. Final artwork size is 11 x 11 inches, framed & matted in a white frame 22 x 22 x 2 inches.

…and while I was taking these photos outside, this sweet Crimson Rosella was whistling away and wiggling his feathery rump happily up in the tree above me!
